Ingredients :
Curd/Yogurt : 1 1/2 cup
Cucumber/keera/southekayi/keerakai : 1 (medium size)
Chat masala powder : 1 tsp
Lemon juice : 1 tbsp (optional)
Salt : to taste
Black pepper powder : 1 tsp
Green chilies : 3 no.
Onion : 1 small
Coriander leaves : fistful
Cumin powder : 1 tsp
Method of Preparation :
- Add salt to the curd/yogurt,whisk it thoroughly and keep it aside.
- Peel the cucumber and chop it into small pieces.Chop green chilies and onions also into very small pieces.Chop coriander leaves also finely.
- Add these chopped cucumber,onions,coriander leaves and green chilies to the whisked curd,mix well.
- Then add black pepper powder and cumin powder to it.
- Finally sprinkle chat masala over it and serve it like that or refrigerate and serve chilled.When serving along with Chapathi/paratha add lemon juice also and serve.
